Robbie is starting to discover his feet. He's kicking a lot, and always trying to stick his feet wherever he can (as you can see in the stroller photo). Of course all this new activity makes it much easier to change his diaper (not!).
Not much new to report. Robbie's been a bit grumpy this week, possibly from teething. He's drooling a lot and always stuffing his hand in his mouth. I hope the teeth come soon.
Robbie is three months old today. He's made a lot of progress with his hands in the last two days. We got him a toy that has different handles that you twist or squeeze and Sesame Street characters make different noises. He's gotten really good at making Cookie Monster say "yum, yum, yum" by twisting a handle. He can also hold a rattle or other toys for a very long time and shake it to make noise. I can now see him deliberately touching a toy to make it do something, rather than the random arm movements he used to make earlier.
We had one night this week where Robbie slept 7 hours straight. Let's hope that happens more often. He has started waking up earlier though, around 6:30 instead of 8. I guess you can't have it all.
Robbie has learned to roll over from his stomach to his back. He doesn't do it every time yet, but he has done it a few times. He also is trying to crawl when on his belly, he manages to move his hands a little forward, but the legs don't know how to follow. He's really making progress on his belly, but he still hates belly time and gets frustrated after a few minutes.
