Robbie's 11.5 months, almost a year old! He's getting closer to walking, he walks behind a wagon (when he's not giving it a wheel allignment, see above), and can stand for longer periods. This month he's been working on his fine motor skills. He can now push a button with just one finger instead of banging on it with his entire hand. He's also learned to do more things on his laugh-n-learn home. He can turn the light on or off, open or close the window, put a ball in the water spout (it's a very small hole and he had a hard time getting the ball in there at first). He's also getting better at turning pages in his books by himself.
His favorite toy lately is a water bottle. He pushes it along the ground like it was a car (nevermind his actual toy cars). This replaced his diaper cream, which was his favorite toy earlier in the month.
He's not making any language-like sounds yet. Though I'm trying to look for signs that he understands. We have a book about a kitten and there's pictures of the cat on every page. I read the book to him and constantly ask him "where's the kitty?" (in czech). Twice now he put his hand on the cat. He also definitely responds to his name.
