Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Robbie was a good boy this year and Santa brought him lots of presents. He got:
12 books (czech, english and dutch)
1 electronical book - on each page you can push buttons and it plays music
3 balls
1 tunnel to crawl through
1 fire truck that makes noise when you bump it into something
4 colorful cars - a present from our neighbors
1 baby einstein video - world animals
1 fisher price learning home - it's the front part of a house with a door Robbie can open and crawl through, a window to open, a flower, a rain spout that you can trow balls into, a radio that plays 4 songs, a door bell, a light switch, a play clock that chimes when you turn it, house numbers you can turn, a mailbox with plastic letters, and much much more. Everything plays music when you interact with it.

He played with:
all his old toys & books
the new balls

He did warm up to his new toys after a few days and especially loves the books and his fisher price home. There's a few things on it he still has to learn, so it shouldn't get boring any time soon. He especially loves opening and closing the door and the mailbox and ringing the doorbell. He also likes his tunnel. He crawls inside and we go from one end to another (I on the outside, robbie on the inside). As soon as he reaches me at one end, I disappear and appear on the other end. He grins and laughs the entire time.

Yesterday we celebrated new year's eve. We went to the neighbors for dinner and then went home for the last few hours of the evening. Jef was a bit sick with allergies and struggled to stay awake. We managed to stay up till midnight, we watched the countdown on mexican tv (because it seemed interesting than the U.S. programs), had a glass of champagne and collapsed into bed. Very exciting. :)
